Would you like to visit the puppet museum?

Let’s start our overseas trip to puppet museums in Paris. In this city there is a beautiful museum of puppet “Musee de la Poupee”. Here we have a lot of beautiful porcelain dolls.
The collection of this museum is collected by two collectors – Guido and his son Sami Odin. Porcelain Parisians dressed up in beautiful dresses from different eras, starting in 1860. There are in the Paris museum both adult young ladies and baby dolls, one thing unites them – surprisingly beautiful and like living porcelain faces.
If you are lucky enough to visit Sicily, be sure to check out the Sicilian puppet doll museum. You will find yourself in the wonderful world of puppet creatures, will see unique Italian dolls depicting different fairy-tale heroes – mysterious wizards, brave knights and beautiful ladies. Most of the dolls in the collection of the Sicilian Museum are wooden.
The oldest of them were made in the XVII century and passed down from generation to generation. Now they are all stored in the museum and anyone can see them. In the Czech Republic there is also a very beautiful puppet museum. It is located in the city of Zruchi nad Sazavou in an old castle.
The Czech Puppet Museum is not very large, there are just over a hundred copies. This museum is interesting because it can be seen as old beauties, and quite modern pupae. The oldest museum doll is almost 120 years old. The Czech Puppet Museum was created not only to preserve vintage dolls, but also to acquaint people with a puppet story.
Different periods and eras gave us such different dolls! There is a puppet museum in sunny Turkey, it is located in Nevsehir (Cappadosia) in a beautiful old house. This Turkish museum is interesting because practically all the dolls of the museum are dressed in national clothes. The clothes of these dolls are simply superb – all the costumes are handmade. The most interesting in the museum’s collection is a huge doll with a height of more than two meters and a weight of about 30 kilograms! For nearly a week, ten craftsmen worked on the creation of this unique doll.
Where else can we admire the dolls? In the Austrian town of Treffen is the museum of the dolls of Ellie Riel. The owner of the museum has created more than 650 magnificent dolls. In the city of Tampere, in Finland, there is a wonderful doll museum called Hatanpää Kartano. Well, if you are in Thailand, be sure to check out the Bangkok Museum-Doll Factory. Here you will see not only many beautiful Thai dolls, but also be able to follow the most interesting process of their manufacture.
There are wonderful puppet museums in Japan, Norway, Germany and many other countries. In the United States is a wonderful museum of doll houses, which contains a collection of stunningly beautiful and realistic houses for handmade dolls. As you can see, there are a lot of puppet museums around the world, and every year there are more and more of them. So let’s not deny ourselves the pleasure of visiting a fairy tale – visit some puppet museum!
